Vision Board 2021

A few weeks back I lead a friendly Vision Board get together. I sent a few points to think about earlier that day to the ladies that were interested in exploring their future goals. The pandemic, of course, put a different spin on how this get together went and what type of “boards” were created. I used Microsoft Teams to present and video-chat and some of us used Canva to create a digital version of the board.

Why is it important to have something clearly presented?

If you want your dream to come to fruition – you must stay focused on your dream, your goals, and your tasks.

​Images help your mind to stay in touch with those goals.

A Vision Board get together is all about sharing your ideas, goals, and your limiting beliefs with the group, reviewing it with the help of others’ unbiased perspective and then going to visually create a life you want to live. It is a therapeutic and a creative process that literally helps your brainwaves move from left side of your brain to your right side and vice versa. It creates new mental connections with a spin of positivity.

So where do you start?
First spend some time with a notebook and contemplate on the following points:  
 

• Word(s) of the year
• Dream Home
• Dream Job
• Dream Health
• Dream Vacation
• Dream Relationship
• Specific Areas You Want to Focus On
• Two BIG goals
• One small goal for January

For a digital vision board: download Canva, find some images in Canva or on Pinterest, search for the desktop wallpaper in Canva and start creating!

How to create and utilize your board?

Create a list of goals you want to achieve in 2021.
Find images that symbolize your goals.
Put down only images, words, feelings you want to attract into your life.
Imagine that you are already living this life, that everything you desire you already have.
Spend time each morning and evening visualizing, affirming, believing, and internalizing these goals.
Have the Vision Board where you can see it, if you used the digital wallpaper – place it on your desktop screen!
